Hello Chemical Engineering and Food Engineering students!

For those of you who are interested in joining an exchange program in South Korea, here is some interesting information for you to look at.

POSTECH (Pohang University of Science and Technology) is one of South Korea’s national universities. We are delighted to inform you that the application for POSTECH A Fall Exchange Program on 2nd September - 20th December 2024 is now open for Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology students. The benefits that will be obtained when participating in this program include:

• Will receive monthly invoices approximately 50,000 KRW/Month

• Receive Equal Medical Benefits as Korean Nationals such as receive automatic discount for doctors appointment and prescription drugs.

Eligibility:

• D4/S1 students (batch 2021 and batch 2022) and S2 (batch 2023)

• Min GPA 3,00

Registration Requirements:

• CV

• Latest of An Academic Transcript in English Version

• Scanned passport information page at least validity minimum 1 year

• Valid English Proficiency Test Score (Eg. TOEFL IBT 79 or ITP/IELTS 6/TEFL 500)

• Certificate of Enrolment 

• One recommendation letter from your lecture in your dept

• Statement Letter & Learning Agreement (please download here bit.ly/its-student-exchange) 

• 1-2 pages motivation letter (mention your department and selected course)

• Valid Korean Proficiency Test Score (If Any)

• Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min. 80 (S2 Applicants can replace it with R2SEP certificate)

• Medical Check-Up Requirement : Proof of a tuberculosis check-up (in English) is required. You may submit it after you got passed internal selections.

• Scanned Parents Letters support in english (the letter must be signed by your parents and the letter must mention about the awareness of your parents about this program. Please also mention that your parents support you for the financial and other things if you are accepted in this program). Should attach the latest financial affidavit.

• All of your document must be in PDF collected in 1 zip/rar file

Registration Timeline:

• Submission deadline: 13th March 2024 (09.00 WIB)

• Interview session: 14th March 2024 (13.30 WIB)
