Hello Chemical Engineering and Food Engineering students!

For those of you who are interested in joining an internship in Taiwan, here is some interesting information for you to look at.

National Chung Cheng University (CCU) Taiwan would like to inform you that they are currently opening registration for the College of Engineering International Internship Program 2024. Intern students conduct research under the guidance of professors at the College of Engineering, applying the knowledge they have acquired in school to practical experiments. Throughout the process, they learn how to communicate and collaborate with their laboratory peers, while also experiencing different cultures. The internship period is at least 8 weeks, mainly between 1st March - 31st December 2024.

Please kindly note that they offer specific topics and the condition for each topic is different. The conditions are related to scholarship, period of internship, etc. There are 2 type of application for this program:

1. Scholarship type: The accepted students in this type will get free accommodation on campus, living expenses (NTD 1500/ week) and travel support fare reimbursement (maximum NTD 10.000).

2. Self support type: The accepted students in this type need to cover their own living expenses, round trip flight ticket and accommodation (about NTD 4000 – 5000 for 2 months).

Registration Requirements:

• ITS students for D4 & S1 (batch 2021), S2 & S3 all batch

• CV

• Scanned of Official Academic Transcripts with GPA min 3.0

• 1-3 Pages Research Plan

• Scanned passport information page at least valid minimum one year prior to December 2024

• Valid English Proficiency Test Score Certificate (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT  (You can use EFL) with a minimum score 477 / 6.0).

• One recommendation letter from an academic advisor

• Certificate of Enrollment

• Statement Letter (download from bit.ly/its-student-exchange)

• Head-shot Photo in JPG format (at least 300 KB file size, 826X1062 pixels)

If you have finished and submitted your Study Abroad Application form, YOU HAVE TO SEND email to studyabroad@its.ac.id confirming that you have filled out the Study Abroad Application Form and submitted it. Please use this subject: “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_CCUCoE_NAME_NRP”.

Registration Timeline:

• Submission deadline: 28th February 2024 (09.00 WIB)

• Interview session: 1st March 2024 (13.30 WIB)
