Internationalization #6 Research Intenship Program at UTM 2025

Hello Chemical Engineering and Food Engineering students!

For those of you who are interested in joining a Research Internship program in UTM Malaysia, here is some interesting information for you to look at.

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) would like to inform you that they are currently opening registration for the Research Internship Program 2025. In this program, students will have a chance to experience another culture, do some research in a different academic/research environment and pursue your specific research topics by involving international cooperation and collaboration in UTM.

The tuition fee for this program is waived. However, the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dorms and living expenses in Malaysia including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Travel Insurance.

Registration Timeline

Registration Deadline : 30 January 2025 (16:00 WIB)
Interview Session : 31 January 2025 (15:00 - 18:00 WIB)

Eligibility & Information

This program is open for ITS students for D4 & S1 (batch 2021 & 2022) , S2 & S3 (all batch). Final year/semester students will become priority for this program.

Please kindly note that ITS Students can apply for this program for 1 – 5 months (maximum). The period time for this program is begin from May/June/July 2025.

Requirement for this Program

CV
Scanned of Official Academic Transcripts
2-5 Pages Research Plan. Please indicate the name of Prof./Dept (if possible) and Topic. Please make sure that you write clearly the internship time in your proposal
Scanned passport information page at least valid for minimum one year starting from 1 May 2025
Valid English Proficiency certificate (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT with minimum score 477 (You can use EFL and screenshot from web UPBG is acceptable)
One recommendation letter from an academic advisor
Certificate of Enrollment
Statement Letter (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange )
Proof of 1 on 1 AWC consultation at least 1 time. Please kindly consult your research plan first to the AWC team before submitting to us (https://www.instagram.com/itswritingcenter/ ). You can choose 1 on 1 consultation

*The incomplete documents can’t be process by mobility team
