Hello Chemical Engineering and Food Engineering students!

For those of you who are interested in joining an Exchange Program abroad, here is some interesting information for you to look at.

National Changhua University of Education (NCU) would like to inform you that the registration for short program application intake from September 2024 to January 2025 (2024 Fall Semester) and  from February 2025 to June 2025 (2025 Spring Semester)  is open.  The benefits that you will get are.

1. Dual Status as TEEP Internship and Exchange Student (Scholarships and Certificates)

• Students receive a stipend from the Ministry of Education (MOE) as TEEP internship students.

• If nominated by a partner university for the exchange program, students will have their tuition waived at NCUE (the number of tuition waivers is determined by the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between both universities).

• Students will be issued two certificates – TEEP internship + exchange student (include transcript)

2. Flexible Course Selection (Including Mandarin Courses and Credit Waiver)

• With approval from the TEEP program director, students may select courses at NCUE during their free time, even while conducting research.

• Undergraduate students (above third grade) may select courses up to the master’s level.

Requirements : 

• Bachelor (3rd and 4th Year) and  Post-Graduate (All-Batch)

• Application form (Form 1)

• Statement of Purpose (Form 2)

• Financial statement and certification (Form 3)

• Survey of the Applicant’s Chinese Language Background (Form 4)

• CV

• Scanned of Official Academic Transcripts in english (with GPA min 3.0)

• Research plan for internship (in 500 words)

• Scanned passport information page at least valid minimum one year

• Valid English Proficiency Test Score Certificate (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT  (You can use EFL with a minimum score 477 / 6.0). EFL from dirpendik is not acceptable

• Recommendation letter from an academic advisor

• Certificate of Enrollment

• Statement Letter & Learning Agreement (please download from here : http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ) Please get signature from your Head of Department at Coordinator Department section and please leave blank at Institutional Coordinator section.

• Published paper (if any)

• Passport-style photo in jpg format (facing front, solid background, shoulders upward, no selfie)

• Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree (min.80)

• ITS Students must consult with their parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are supporting you (all financial & mental) to join this program. (No format required)

Registration Timeline:

• Submission deadline: 17th July 2024 (09.00 WIB)

• Interview Session : 19th July 2024
