Hello Chemical Engineering and Food Engineering students!

For those of you who are interested in joining an exchange program abroad, here is some interesting information for you to look at.

Tamkang University Taiwan would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for Fall Semester 2024 (Mid September 2024 – Mid January 2025) is open.  The tuition fee for this program is waived. However, the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dormitory and living expenses in Taiwan including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, visa fees, facility fee & Insurance. TKU offers 4 levels of free Chinese Language Program for exchange students from beginning to advance, there are: Basic Chinese, Intermediate Chinese (I), Intermediate Chinese (II), and Advanced Chinese.

This program is open for ITS students bachelor or diploma batch 2021, 2022 and postgraduate students of all batches. Please take notes that ITS students must take & transfer maximum credit opportunity  (S1)  and you are not allowed to retake the courses. Requirements : 

• Fill out the form through: TKU Application Form for Exchange Students

• Official academic transcript in English.

• Learning Agreement and Statement Letter (Please download at this link: http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange)

• Scanned of Valid TOEFL/TEFL/EFL UPT Bahasa (Score min. 477) Certificate. You may use TOEFL IBT min 61/IELTS min. 6.0/Duolingo Certificate min. 100 points. You can’t use a screenshot score from web UPT Bahasa or TOEFL Prediction.

• Copy of passport information page (Valid at least one year).

• Resume.

• Three passport-size photographs (one is pasted on the application form 3,5×4,5 cm, made in recent 6 months, no hat is worn, white background, color photo without modification or being specially processed, and last on the back of the photo, please write down your name.

• Study plan (please include your major, explain academic goals for studying abroad and why you choose an exchange program in Tamkang University).

• Financial Statement (at least 2,000 USD) with stamp or signature (You may submit it after passing ITS GE internal selection).

• Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min. 80 (please kindly note that this document is required for this program, S2 applicants are not compulsory to submit those documents since the academic activities for postgraduate level are quite different).

• ITS Students must consult with their parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are supporting you (all financial & mental) to join this program. (No format required).

Registration Timeline:

• Submission deadline: 4th April 2024 (09:00 WIB)

• Interview Session :  5th April 2024
