Hello Chemical Engineering and Food Engineering students!

For those of you who are interested in joining a Special Master course in Japan , here is some interesting information for you to look at.

HIROSHIMA UNIVERSITY is one of Japan’s national universities. We are delighted to inform you that the application for A Special Master Program Intake October 2024 is now open for partner universities. The benefits that will be obtained when participating in this program include:

• Scholarships that each grantee will be provided monthly with 100,000 yen for 24 months. The scholarship will not be paid to a grantee who takes a leave of absence or is a long absence from Hiroshima University. It will be canceled in the following case : 

• If any of his/her application documents is found to be falsely stated.

• If she/he is subjected to disciplinary action, such as expulsion or removal from register, taken by Hiroshima University.

• If it becomes definitive that the grantee won’t be able to complete his/her course within the standard course term because of his/her poor achievement or suspension.

• Intensive Japanese Language Course.

• Japanese Style Manufacturing

• Internship in Companies in Hiroshima Prefecture

• Regular Engineering/Technology Classes

• Master Course Research.

• Dissertation

  
  

Requirements : 

• Admission Application Form (use the prescribed form)

• Reason for Application (use the prescribed form)

• Summary of Bachelor’s Thesis (Use the prescribed form)

• Research Plan (use the prescribed form, note should be made after consulting with a prospective academic advisor of HU.)

• Letter of recommendation from an academic advisor (Should be made by typewriting and signed by handwriting)

• Pledge (use the prescribed form)

• Application Fee (30,000 JPY)

• Academic Transcript (Written in English or Japanese)

• Certificate of Graduation or Certificate of Expected Graduation

• Certificate of English Language Ability (TOEIC min. 600, IELTS min 5.5 or 160 on Cambridge English Qualifications or Equivalent)

• Certification of Japanese Ability (if any)
