Hello Chemical Engineering and Food Engineering students!

For those of you who are interested in joining a Lab Internship in Thailand, here is some interesting information for you to look at. 

King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) Thailand would like to inform you that they are currently opening registration of Lab Internship Program intake May/June 2025. In this program, students will have a chance to experience another culture, do some research in a different academic or research environment and pursue your specific research topics by involving international cooperation and collaboration in KMITL. The supervisor from KMITL will give ITS Students some work assignments and they will assess regularly until they reach the target of the project or research.  The supervisor also will assist during the research process in KMITL.

You can choose from the prospective supervisor or topic. You need to fit the topic based on the department or laboratory in KMITL. Please kindly refer to this web to find prospective topic, laboratory, or professor (please kindly check in each school or faculty website):

The tuition fee for this program is waived.  However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dorms and living expenses in Thailand including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, Visa & Travel Insurance. This program is open for ITS students for D4 & S1 batch 2022, S2 & S3 (all batch). Final semester students will become priority for this program.

NOTE : 

Students can apply to this program for a minimum of 1 month and maximum 4 months. The schedule can be started in May or June 2025 and will be ended depending on students' proposals.  You need to consult in your Department regarding the possibility to transfer Lab internship into KP (Kerja Praktik). 

Here are the requirement for this program :  

• CV.

• Scanned of Official Academic Transcript 

• Scanned Passport information page at least valid minimum is one year

• Statement Letter (Download the template here : bit.ly/its-student-exchange )

• Valid English Proficiency certificate (original).  TOEFL, IELTS, IBT, or Duolingo  with minimum score (or equal with) 500.

• Research Plan with 2-5 pages (please indicate the name of Prof. and Topic, and also please write clearly the internship time proposal). The students are not required to contact the prof. OIA KMITL will assist the students to match with the research plan and prospective supervisor.

• Proof of 1 on 1 AWC consultation at least 1 time. Please kindly consult your research plan first to the AWC team before submitting to us (https://www.instagram.com/itswritingcenter/ ). You can choose one on one consultation.

1. Submission Deadline : 2 January 2025, 16.00 WIB
